Bloomming is founded by Bas van Leeuwen and Mireille Meijs. They met during their study at the Design Academy in The Netherlands. For the duo, Bloomming means spring and blossom. Inspired by the world in which we live their designs are made to surprise. The approach differences each time, but all their designs and products are fit in a collection the duo likes to call 'Industrial Poetry'.Read our story
For our wedding anniversary we wanted to do something special. We choose to celebrate it with the wedding ring set by Bloomming. The design is simple, sophisticated and symbolic. And they’re very comfortable to wear. The whole process took only 3 weeks. And the personal touch from Bas was the icing on the cake!

Diamonds In Your Room
The Room Divider Facet of Bloomming makes it possible to be creative with light and shadow. The diamond shapes can be individually opened or closed and allow you to create all the creative patterns you can imagine. The room divider can also be used as blinds. The system is modular and can be expanded till any desired size, width or length.

Long Live Technology!
We buy products, use products and when it breaks down we throw it away. Repairing them is getting more rare. Because of this, we tend to lose our touch with technology. With the design clock Delay, design studio Bloomming wishes to bring back this touch. In the design of the clock, the inner workings of time are shown in a mechanism consisting of three gears: one for seconds, another for minutes and a third one for hours. Where these touch each other, you can read the current time. Clock hands are a redundancy!
What a Fantastic Product
Room divider Facet is a fantastic product to work with. People are really opening and closing the Facet walls in the office very often. Creating different patterns and shapes. Which gives a great impact to personalizing the workspace, or any space. It was great working with Bas and Bloomming.

The Dazzling Light Facet
Mireille Meijs got the inspiration for her room divider facet during a friends' gathering at her home, where sunlight was pouring through the window. Since she believes that sunlight is too beautiful to be convered completely by ordinary curtains. She designed the minimal yet dazzeling room divider Facet, which people can adjust according to how many rays they was coming into the room. When compared to the rest of the world, the Dutch are ofrten seen as very down-to-earth. This is reflected in the design - strongly conceptual, simple, clear but still very suprising.
